What is the value of Condylar Inclination? A. 10-15 Degree
B. 15-20 Degree
C. 20-25 Degree
D. 30-40 Degree
B. 15-20 Degree
C. 20-25 Degree
D. 30-40 Degree
Ans. (C)
Condylar
Element- Average settings of the condylar inclination on the articulator can be
used. The average value given in
early studies were 33 degrees for sagittal and 15 degrees for lateral condylar
path inclination.
Hanau H2-
Bennett angle (L) (H/8) + 12
Perheps the
Bennett Angle should be set at an average setting of 15° and thus eliminate the
calculations.
Oiscussion-
On solving the above said equation the value of H (Horizontal Condylar guidance
comes out to be 24°, So I am giving the lower value as answer after discussion
with the prosthetic teachers.
