AIIMS MDS Preparations | Radiographycally snow driven appearance


Radiographycally snow driven appearance suggests:

a. Adenomatoid odontogenic tumor 
b. Calcifying odontogenic cyst
c. Calcifying epithelial odontogenic tumor 
d. Keratocyst

Ans. C: Calcifying epithelial odontogenic tumor (Pindborg’s tumor radiographically appear as combined pattern of radiolucency and and radiopacity with many small irregular bony trabeculae.  Scattered flecks of calcification throughtout the radiolucency give rise to “driven shown” appearance.
